The Gift of Clarity | A Fathers Day Reflection

The Gift of Clarity | A Fathers Day Reflection

When my husband and I founded EcoNora, I thought I was embarking on something entirely new. But the further we’ve journeyed, the more I’ve realized: it’s not just about the product we make. It’s about the clarity that shaped me long before this business ever existed. And that clarity came from my dad.

Growing up, my dad ran a masonry business. At the time, I thought he just built walls—strong, lasting, admired by everyone who saw them. But what I didn’t realize back then was that he was quietly building something else: he was building me.

I still remember one of the first times he asked for my help on something real. I was just a teenager, and he handed me a stack of papers and asked me to draft a proposal. I remember the nervous excitement, the trust he placed in me. And when he used my draft, it wasn’t just a proposal—it was his way of saying I mattered. He gave me clarity that my ideas had worth.

My dad didn’t just teach me about business. He taught me that integrity matters, that relationships matter. Everywhere we went, someone had a story about him—about how he made them feel seen, valued. That’s the kind of clarity he gave me—not just about business, but about how to treat people.

Now, when my husband and I face challenges with EcoNora, I think back to that clarity. It’s not just about seeing the road ahead, but seeing how to stay grounded in what matters. When we named our product EcoNora Clarity, it wasn’t just about clean windshields—it was about the clarity we strive for in everything we build.

This Father’s Day, I’m grateful—not just for the walls my dad built, but for the clarity he built in me. It’s the foundation that makes everything else possible.

Happy Father’s Day, Dad. Thank you for helping me see what’s possible. ❤️
